Vantage Mezzanine IV Southern African Sub Fund Partnership is the Southern African sleeve of Vantage Capital’s fourth mezzanine program. It provides flexible private-debt capital to mid-market businesses, with financing used for expansion, acquisitions, shareholder transactions and refinancing. Amongst others, the fund invested in South African business-process-outsourcing provider Procera Group and Seaton Estates, a coastal residential development in KwaZulu-Natal.
Founded in 2001, Vantage Capital is an Africa-focused fund manager with a mezzanine investment platform established in 2006. Its mezzanine strategy provides subordinated, flexible capital to established mid- to large-sized businesses operating in Africa. The manager evaluates opportunities across a range of sectors, with a focus on businesses seeking capital for growth, acquisitions, ownership transitions or refinancing. Its mezzanine team is involved in investment assessment, structuring, execution and post-investment monitoring.
