Overview
Vantage Mezzanine IV Pan-African Sub Fund is the pan-African component of Vantage Capital’s fourth mezzanine fund. It provides flexible mezzanine financing to mid-sized African companies, supporting acquisitions, expansion, refinancing and selected development projects. The fund has invested across sectors including healthcare, telecommunications, business services, food and agriculture, and real estate in North, East and Southern Africa.
Founded in 2001, Vantage Capital is an Africa-focused fund manager with mezzanine and renewable-energy financing platforms. Its mezzanine business provides subordinated, flexible capital to companies across Africa. The manager focuses on established mid-market businesses and projects seeking capital for acquisitions, expansion, shareholder transactions, refinancing and working capital. Its mezzanine strategy is sector-diversified, while generally excluding highly volatile primary mining and primary agriculture exposures.
