An Australian growth equity fund providing direct growth capital to resilient companies with actionable growth plans in Australia and New Zealand. Amongst others, the fund invested in energy-retail software provider Tally Group and embedded essential-services provider Smart Urban Properties Australia. In 2025, IFM Investors announced it was exiting its Australian mid-market growth private equity strategy and managing portfolio exits over the following four to five years.
IFM Investors is a global asset manager founded and owned by pension funds. It invests across infrastructure, debt, private equity, private credit, real estate and listed equities. Its private equity approach has focused on partnering with founders and management teams of Australian and New Zealand businesses with resilient models and defined growth agendas. The team uses an active ownership approach, including direct engagement with management and portfolio company boards.
