Overview
Clearlake Capital Partners VII is Clearlake’s seventh flagship private equity fund. It applies the manager’s sector-focused approach across technology, industrials and consumer businesses, including control-oriented investments and complex transaction types such as carve-outs, turnarounds and recapitalizations. The fund is positioned within Clearlake’s private equity platform, which targets mid-cap and large-cap companies at points of growth, transition or operational complexity.
Founded in 2006, Clearlake Capital Group is a global investment firm with private equity, credit and related investment strategies. Its private equity activity focuses on technology, industrials and consumer sectors and includes buyouts, turnarounds, carve-outs, recapitalizations and reorganizations. Clearlake partners with management teams and uses its O.P.S. operational improvement framework. This approach combines operational planning, management and board resources, and strategy development over the investment period.
