Clairvest Equity Partners VII is a successor fund in Clairvest’s private equity platform. It partners with owner-operated businesses across the manager’s active industry domains and uses both minority and majority ownership structures.

Clairvest GP Manageco is part of Clairvest, a private equity platform founded in 1987 that co-invests alongside institutional investors in owner-led businesses. The firm takes an industry-led approach, applying sector research to sourcing, diligence and portfolio oversight. Clairvest partners with experienced management teams and invests across a range of industries, including environmental services, gaming, food and beverage, healthcare, industrial services, and technology services. It does not require majority ownership and provides board-level strategic support, acquisition evaluation, financing assistance and management recruitment support.

Selected investments

  • Redstone Food Group — The fund made a minority equity investment in Redstone Food Group, a commercial bakery focused on bread and bakery products for the in-store bakery segment.
  • NCS Engineers — The fund made a minority equity investment in NCS Engineers, a provider of turnkey water and wastewater engineering solutions in the United States.
  • Beneficial Reuse Management — The fund recapitalized and invested in Beneficial Reuse Management, which repurposes industrial waste streams into products for agriculture, landscaping, wallboard and construction end markets.
  • MGM Northfield Park — The fund acquired a majority ownership interest in MGM Northfield Park, a regional racino in Northfield, Ohio.
