Overview

Ara Fund III is Ara Partners’ third private equity fund, focused on buyout and growth investments in industrial decarbonization. Its portfolio spans industrial and manufacturing, chemicals and materials, energy efficiency and green fuels, and food and agriculture, with investments in North America and Europe.

Founded in 2017, Ara Partners is an investment firm focused on decarbonizing the industrial economy. The firm invests across private equity, infrastructure and energy strategies. Ara’s private equity approach targets businesses and process technologies serving industrial decarbonization. It focuses on control investments in cash-generative or later-stage growth companies, including businesses with intellectual property, established contracts, or opportunities to build production capacity and operating capabilities.

  • VAC — Producer of advanced magnetic solutions, rare-earth permanent magnets and inductive components for applications including renewable energy, e-mobility and industrial automation.
  • Paratus — Provider of price-risk insurance policies for renewable power, transition fuels and freight.
  • Microtec — Developer of advanced micronization technology, including a waste-glass processing application for concrete materials.
  • Sedron Technologies — Developer of technology that processes wastewater biosolids and dairy manure into electricity, water and fertilizer products.
