Overview

AlpInvest Secondaries Program VIII is a global private equity secondaries program. It acquires exposure to existing private equity assets through purchases of fund interests, continuation funds and other general-partner-centered transactions, providing liquidity solutions to both limited partners and general partners.

AlpInvest Partners, operating as Carlyle AlpInvest, is a global private markets investor with more than 25 years of experience across primary fund investments, co-investments, secondaries and portfolio finance. Its secondaries strategy combines purchases of limited partner interests with general-partner-centered transactions. The team applies bottom-up underwriting to existing private equity assets and draws on relationships across private equity managers and investors to source and structure transactions.
